This sign is not a common one, and has been named as a pain line local to where it is positioned in the sclera. This right lower sclera quadrant shows a a tiny fork moving into the transverse colon. Upon questioning, this client advised that they had recently had a colonoscopy whereby polyps were surgically removed, which explains this marking perfectly. Interestingly enough, at a later date this client had also had surgical intervention to remove uterine cysts, however no pain line was present in the the area of the uterus! I will always find it so fascinating to see how the body responds and heals so differently to everything that it experiences.
