This sign presents as it is named, as uneven parallels (one thicker line parallel to a thinner line), and indicates a degree of fatty buildup within the arterial walls. Although in this circumstance these lines here are are quite faint and thin, they are present throughout both of this client’s eyes which may indicate a growing issue that should be monitored. If accompanied by fat metabolism dysfunction markings or liver congestion, it may indicate an issue with this clients ability to digest and metabolise fats, which may be causing the fatty buildup. Diet changes and supplementation should see these lines retreat.
