Very Berry Smoothie

If you are looking for a delicious hit of antioxidant and essential vitamins & minerals, than this yummy Very Berry Smoothie will certainly hit the spot! Blueberries and blackberries are some of the richest sources of antioxidants, essential for fighting off cancer-causing free radicals in the body. They also contain a host of other essential vitamins and minerals such as manganese, vitamin C, selenium, magnesium, potassium, zinc, bioflavonoids, vitamin A, K & B complex and copper.
The maca powder will help to stabilise and balance hormonal fluctuations that may be going on in your body, and as a bonus – will help to naturally enhance your stamina, endurance and sexual desire!
Lucuma & mesquite powder are both natural, low GI sweeteners that have a rich mineral profile, including zinc, calcium, niacin, lysine, magnesium, iron and dietary fibre. They both have a beautiful caramely flavour and add a subtle sweetness.

Chia seeds are a pretty powerful little superfood, containing very high amounts of protein (with all 8 essential amino acids), dietary fibre, omega 3, vitamin C, calcium, iron, potassium, as well as helping to balance blood sugar levels. 1 1/2 Cups Coconut Milk or Almond Milk
1/2 Cup Frozen Blueberries
1/4 Cup Frozen Blackberries
1 Tsp Maca Powder
1 Tsp Lucuma
1 Tsp Mesquite Powder
1 Tsp Chia Seeds
1 Tbsp Hemp Seeds
1/4 Tsp Vanilla Powder

Blend all the ingredients together and serve with extra blueberries & chia or hemp seeds on top!
