Juice: Carrot, Turmeric, Lemon, Parsley

I am currently on day 5 of a juice fast, and feeling amazing! I wanted to share some yummy juice recipes that not only taste great, but have some extremely powerful health benefits as well. I will keep sharing different recipes over the next couple of weeks. These are a great alternative to a sugary soft drink or store bought juice to cool down with this summer. You can even pop them into ice-block trays for some tasty & healthy ice-blocks ideas!

Ingredients:
10 medium-large carrots (you can use more or less depending on the amount of juice you want)
4cm long piece of fresh turmeric
Huge handful of parsley
1/2 lemon (without the rind)

Just put all of the fresh, washed produce through the juicer and you’re done! When juicing especially, try to use organic produce. If you are unable to use organic, make sure you wash it thoroughly. As most of you probably already know, a cold press juicer is king when it comes to juicing, however any juice is better than no juice – so if you own a masticating juicer than that is fine!
